This Micro Grow Kit is the perfect starting point for anyone even thinking about starting the journey to having more food independence. This very basic kit includes everything you need to start experimenting with microgreens in your home. The Bootstrap Farmer shallow 5x5 microgreens tray is tough, durable, and reusable.

The hemp mats are a great starting point for grow medium. It is lightweight, easy to work with, and completely free of any contamination that could effect your crops. The reusable container is not only for packaging but very functional as well. You use this as a bottom watering tray but also as a humidity dome for the first few days of germination. Simply place a kitchen towel over it for any black out period that may be necessary.

Finally we provide you with a “Starter Pack” of seeds. These will typically be either Radish, Pea Shoots, or Sunflower. We recommend you start with one of these three because of their heartiness and general ease of use. Other seeds may be available by request.
